01 · From prose to patterns
The temperature of the whole school, in one place.
A single report tells you about a single student. Five hundred reports tell you something about your school, but only if someone can read them all at once. Lantern does the reading. It surfaces the themes teachers return to, the language of strengths and the language of growth, and how that picture shifts from one reporting cycle to the next. It is a starting point for a leadership conversation, not a verdict.

03 · The boundaries
A lens for leaders, not a scoreboard.
Insights exist to help leaders see the shape of their school’s reporting, spot where support might help, and keep the language of reports consistent and constructive. We are deliberately careful about what it does not do.
- It does not rank, score or rate teachers.
- It does not assess students or predict outcomes.
- It does not replace your judgement. It gives leaders a place to start a conversation.
Insights are built from comments your teachers have already written and approved. Student data stays onshore in AWS Sydney, is never used to train AI models, and every access is recorded in the immutable audit trail. How this reaches you, whether that is an interactive view your leadership team explores, a summary each cycle, or a walkthrough with us, is something we set up with each school.
