Sub-processors

Ember Education engages a small number of trusted third parties (“sub-processors”) to help us deliver Lantern. A sub-processor is an organisation that may process customer data or personal data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions. We keep this list to the minimum necessary to run the service.
All customer and student data is hosted onshore in Australia. We do not use student data to train AI models, and any AI processing runs on Australian-region infrastructure. For the full picture of how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
Current sub-processors
The table below lists the sub-processors that may process customer or personal data, the purpose for which they are engaged, and where that processing takes place.

Changes to this list
We may add or replace sub-processors as Lantern evolves. When we make a material change to this list, we will update this page and notify customers who have subscribed to change notifications, so you have time to review the change before it takes effect.
